Cisco Connect Cloud

Good: The Cisco Connect Cloud is arguably one of the best, if not the best firmware and interface platform for home routers. It supports third-party apps, you can manage home networks and appliances via the Internet from any connected device, and it shows the potential for a completely connected home.

Bad: The Cisco Connect Cloud's special QoS feature, called Media Prioritization, is currently limited to only three devices or services, and its USB storage feature doesn't support media streaming to mobile devices. Currently there are only a few supported home appliances.

Bottom Line: Cisco Connect Cloud changes the way people interact with a home network and revolutionizes what a wireless router can do without overwhelming even the most novice user. [Read more]
